This cycad just began sprouting new fronds one day in our front yard and I was taken by their curled, curvy appearances, Michele. So glad it reminds you of Florida. I complain about our summers, and that is one reason I am writing to you from our cabin in the NC mountains, where the temp this morning is 54 degrees. One word Anson 'georgous '...... I miss the tropical warm weather so much it hurts....

Very neat picture. Nor only are the colours and details great, your crop is wonderful. It really shows this plant off. The many curves and feathery sections are grand.

The fronds are fairly curved, along with the leaves on them, when they first uncurl themselves, which began last week sometime. Thanks for the nice comment. I am glad you enjoyed this photo. Anson
