Well Done John . . . very good capture of the Irridescent colors on these little guys! Wonderful DOF. While, intially, the focus seems to my eye to be on the feeder and not the bird . . . the DOF seems deep enough to win over the shot. I like the image and composition and feel motivated to play with several crop variations . . . since the right side of the feeder is cropped off . . . did you consider cropping along the drop line?? Than again, who am I kidding . . . this is a great shot as is . . . That's probably why it motivates thinking on my part! Nicely done!

Awesome pic. I just love hummingbirds but you have to be patient to try and capture them and you've got it down to a science. Brilliant coloring on the bird and the background color really enhances the overall effect of the photo.
