Wow, what great color, John. DOF is fantastic, leading eye to distant shore and the color. Did you use a polarizer here? Might have gotten more penetration of the near water if you did not, sometimes not effective, depending upon orientation. Regards. Anson

Wow John . . . the underwater leaves are perfectly exposed and I dearly love how the view through the water bacomes . . . gradually . . . a view of the reflections on the water. Well done!

I see you've been a busy boy during my absence Bill! After I get a shot such as this one with a "decent" depth of field, I'm reminded to try one of those composite shots fusing separately exposed duplicate images into one and achieving perfect (or at least "close enough") detailing of foreground AND background (and everything in-between ground) you know the ones Bill! God I love those shots!!! Then I forget all about it until the next time it happens....LOL -john

Thanks again nessa, this spot is a place I visited frequently as a child, very near where I grew up. It holds a space dear in my heart. Although clean now, until recently the bottom was covered with contaminant sludge from the International Paper Co. mill.
