Wallace, this image is by far, my most favorite portrait on any web-site anywhere! I get lost in it over and over again. The way you express your passion for portraiture is the target, inwhich I shoot at. You da man! Thanks, Rik

Thanks, everybody. To Raymond: This picture was made at the bride's home just a few minutes before leaving for the church. The backdrop is a piece of black felt, 6'x6', held, while standing on a chair, by an innocent bystander whom I commandeered at the scene. To Sandra and Karen, the spot-spotters: You are absolutely correct. How I missed that is a complete mystery to me; I'm usually very careful about such things. The damage has been repaired and I have scheduled an appointment with my optometrist.

This is an awesome picture...I love the colors and the mood I feel from the subject. Having never done portrait work I was just wondering if the black background is a backdrop or something else? While I'd love to get into the type of work, I don't have access to a studio of any type and was just wondering what sort of back drop you used. Window light, reflectors and a soft box I can do...

A beautiful profile portrait, the colours and lighting are both lovely, but the white spots distract somewhat.

Excellent portrait with a "PRO-technique" and a "PRO-equipment". Congrats, Marco
