I like this image of the moon a lot my friend, I would also hae used a tripod and a cable release, you are 100% right there, the image is wonderful and very sharp and including all of the data is another wonderful job by you, all of the best my friend

Hi Riny, it“s a canon 75-300mm USM lens, but i cropped the side“s, so it looks like a very big moon.

Thanks Ace for your kind words, yes, you can always better use a tripod in situations like this. You can try shutter speed 1/500, then it must be possible to do it out of hand. You need to hold your hands very still. I'll try to shoot the fool moon, but the forecast says very cloudy sky's the coming days.

u did the right thing by capturing moon on tripod because i try to capture several times and end result is it appears in diffrent shapes even in the shape of heart and i will share with you guys here you'l be amazed how moon turned into heart shape hehe :)
perfect capture! be ready on thursday or maybe wedensday for full moon show down ... waiting to see from you :)
