About In a special area between my village and Lelystad city, there is an area in which Deer, Foxes, Wild Cows, Wild Horses live free and next to another. Only when there are feeding problems in the winter, they give them some food to not let them starve.
This one ofcourse for a horse lover we all know....... I believe her name is Mary. I hope you all like this one, and hope she likes it too.

I'm glad you liked my "panoramic" cropping Marian.
Didn't know you loved horses so much, Mary does too, so another horse-lover on UF. When I see horses I imediately was thinking of Mary, next time I have two to think about. LOL.
All the best,

Klaas

Oke Nil, now I see, but as you probably know, I'm not much of a PS worker, so I present my photo's as I took them. Thanks for doing it for me.

Hi Meldijana, don't you have 4 or 5 weeks hollidays in your worksituation? We have about 30 worksdays, so that's 6 weeks a year. We can take 3 weeks after another in our (summer) vacation, but I prefer 4, and when I negotiate with my boss, that has never been a problem.
Take care,

Klaas

Thanks Nilanjan for your comment. I'm looking forward to your horse picture.
Sorry my friend, but what did you to with the modification? It's rather small, so I can't see much difference. Did you click on the full panoramic screen?
Regards, take care,

Klaas

Meldijana, when you have the time and possibitlity, you should really come to our little country, lots of oportunities to see not only horses, but also windmills (hundreds al over the country) big waterprojects, to protect our "under sealevel" lying country against the sea, and so on, and so on.
Thanks for sending me the horse, from a beautiful park so I can see.
Have a nice day,

Klaas

Thanks for your comment Meldijana, they where not always there, they created this area, and than let the animals in, and take care of themselves. Only when there isn't enough food in winter, they give them some extra.
Have a nice evening,

Klaas

Hello Hugo, thanks for your comments, I'm very glad you liked this one, it was a normal picture, but because of the changing weather the sky was not so nice to see, so I did a bit work on the canvas and cut it of.
Have a nice evening, and thanks again,

Klaas

Beautifully seen and executed Klaas. I have to echo the comment by Hugo about the layers. . . it was the first thing that caught my eye. Good subject, of course . . . there are so many horse lovers in the world that an image, even when done poorly, would still be loved by some. In this case, it's done quite well. The layers are a great touch here . . . basically four distinctive bands. The impact seems quite strong and the attention is literally forced onto the horses which, although in their own distinctive layer, are the only random elements in the whole composition. I think the sky might have worked or not depending on the uniformity of the tree tops and the details in the sky. This bold crop renders those aspects meaningless and works (at least in my opinion) much, much better. This one is impressive!

Doyle I

Hi Klaas, Cool panoramic image. I think the composition, rather layered by the field in front, shrubs in the middle and trees in the background is a very good idea, the fact that the trees block the view on the horizon consises the scene nicely, allowing the horses to draw the attention. A subtle difference, but I don't think it would've been as strong as in a more open type of landscape, if you see what I mean.

Cheers,

Hugo

Well, if I am the horse lover you all know- I shall claim them Klaas! This really is a beautiful picture especially in panoramic. I would never have this many horses here- just a few up the road. And I love the fact that they are wild horses. And just greenery around them. Gorgeous Klaas- thank you so much.
