Pat, the D200 is nowhere in stock - as far as I have found. To get one it is best to order and go on a wait list. I purchased locally, at list price, at Lens and Shutter, and received my camera after a 3 week wait. However, the 18-200 VR lens is in such short supply, that Nikon Canada will not even accept orders from the retailers. I consoled myself with the 2.8 105mm VR macro to get a $100 discount on purchase with a body. It is a beautiful lens with the VR actually effective for about 4 stops gain at macro distances. Now, what will I be doing with my 2.8 60mm micro nikkor, or my D70s?

I have been trying to build up the courage to tell my wife I want a D200. Your comment somewhat tempts me. Look forward to seeing your images. Where did you find it? (My usual place, B & H still doesn't have these in stock).

Pat, I am pleased that you liked the photo. I have been out of touch for the past week but have managed some photography - alas, no time to edit for posting. Hope to be more active on usefilm next week. My D200 has just come in, and the new 105mm VR macro. :)

Eb - I really like the contrasting colors. Swirl in the clouds and various shades of blue are nice. Nice composition.

For years my Dad's friends have went to Cultus Lake fishing. I always thought it sounded so pretty. Well, I was right! No wonder they wanted to go here. This and the other photos make it look very inviting. Great job.
