Took me a while to get my head round this one. A great abstract - I like the metallic curves and blue tones - with something of a daring presentation. And yes, it does work!

Good idea w/ the line around the image. I guess it doesn't show here, but there's a fair amount of cyan in the white...so I guess it looks like the white is smoothing out to the matte. I'll try a line around it when I get home... see what that gets us! Printed it last night on matte heavyweight paper A4, and the blacks look like you can stick you hand thru the image! Love this stuff!
thanks again for the very nice comments! Was amazed that they let me photograph the car...cause I was expecting a man with a gun to watch over me :)

Fabulous abstract/detail shot!!! Wonderful colors/tones, fantastic reflections and shine (looks like someone is standing next to it with a gun and if a lint or dust particle dares to try and land on it, it will be shot... LOL), excellent clarity and composition..!!! Love the big frame (maybe you could've made an inner (dark) line to get a clear 'here the image ends and the frame begins'... esp where there's (almost) white on white).... well captured and done!!

thanks Jeanette! Yes, it's the front of a very rare Jaguar. The entire car is hand made, and the lines on it are so flowing! The 'paspartoute', well, that credit goes to my wife who glanced over my shoulder, and kept saying, 'make the matte even larger.... larger... ok, that looks good'. It was a tough decision to post it like that. I'm glad you like it, cause I was worried it made the image look small here on UF. I just printed it, and it holds up nicely (phew!).
