About Taken about 10 mins from home. The skies were wicked that day and really lit up the natural colours of the ground. From the red dirt of the road to the green sides and cotton fields. You can even see a windmill peaking over the trees on the left.

Nice dramatic effect Judi!
I've tried a few like this and never had a lot of success with them. Except maybe some shots I took with mushrooms in the foreground.

Lovely Judy! A well thought-out composition (so it seems). Two of the big elements of the earth (soil and sky/water) split by the life both sustain (plants). I like the emphasis on the Sky and soil - normally we only notice the green layer covering everything. A great environmental sandwich! Take care Judy.

Like the use of DOF Judie a clever choice of aperture
I can see what you have tried to achive here with the emphasis on the wide open space and the colour on the ground but I feel it could just do with something stronger on the foreground to focus the attention more.

good perspective created and i like the technique, however next time use a smaller aperture f11--f22 works great on these shots.

i too eyjoy those clouds the way they are gathered and scattered and when they silently moves it appears a great mass has collected and is performing a drill in joy and on the low angle ground when i see this path i feel a sudden arrow like movement and reach in the end...i love this movement on the low angle shot....
