Jim, that new function enabled me to straighten up the light pole but it's hardly worth reposting just for that. After playing around a LOT with the image I've come to believe the "grey" effect is what it was really like--anything else I try ends up looking prettier but unnatural. Japan is not exactly the sunshine state... [grin]

Thanks, Jim. I've just discovered a function in my stitching software that lets me specify any two points as being on either a vertical or horizontal straight line, and this tweaks the deformation to correct any bends. I'll try that with this one. (The bend bugs me, too!). I know there's something wrong with the colour but I don't know how to use PhotoShop to correct it... This is the best I could manage with PaintShop Pro (the poor man's PS). Would value any suggestions.

This is really neat but I can't help but want that light pole to be straight. The bent treetops don't bother me as much. I like that you even caught your shadow. With all of these panoramics it seems that your images are rather grey. You might want to adjust the levels and/or curves in Photoshop to get the most out of the color and contrast.

LOL. Fun shot indeed, I am glad I took a look. Not much of a childrens playground. Wonderful 360 work.

Awesome result Roger; it does look mighty strange but still very effective. We have children's playgrounds in much the same vogue. The authorities here minimalise the amount of damage that the teenage hooligan element can inflict on the kiddies playgrounds. Best wishes to you..Ray

Fantastic composition!!! Really excellent, each element is perfectly fitted in this panorama (also your shadow that seems the signature of the photo!)
