While on holiday in France I used my compact to take 3 portrait shots I planned to manually stitch together later. Traditionally, stitched shots tend to be in the landscape format. The bush was slightly to my right and the tall weed was immediately to my left. Because the GR1 has a 28mm lens, the angle of view in this image is very expansive. Stitching wide-angle shots together is tricky and here and there the landscape has been changed!
A lot of work but well worth it. Excellent shot. The only suggestion would have been some sort of UV filter to reduce the haze in the background, but I'm not sure of the availabilty of such things with the GR1.
