Thanks James, I appreciate the comment! I'll check out your recent uploads when I return home. On a roadtrip, so computer time is limited! Robin

The flare in no way diminishes your ice horse. Nice find and well composed shot.

A Truly AMAZING SHOT! Isn't Nature just flipping FANTASTIC, and you for having a keen eye to catch it. The flare just adds another dimension to it, no problem, but the ice against the sky is wicked. Well done.
Ian
Ps. Thx for your comments.

You have some great pics in your page. I don't think you are all that technically challenged anymore. ;) Maybe it is just me being a cowgirl but this looks like a horse raring up from waves. Love the abstract and bright blue hue!

Thank you Ray. I think I'll take your advice and make copy to practice on...IF I can sit down at the computer for more than 20 minutes at a time! There's always so much to do :( Take care...Robin

I agree with Ann....it looks very much like a horse rearing up out of the sea foam. The shot looks great and worth posting Robin. If you take a copy and keep practicing you should be able to clone the flare out on a lowish percentage basis. If you have CS or CS2 try the healing brush. Well done Robin I think it looks great...Best wishes to you my sweet....Ray

This looks like a seahorse to me, Robin! Well seen, and I'm glad that you posted it...flare and all! You'll pick up PS quickly I'm sure. There's quite a learning curve...I have a TON of things that I need to figure out, but it's a lot of fun! Kathy

Hi Sam, Thanks for the comment and yes, that's exactly what I wanted to do, I like it better without the flare! I received PS for christmas but just have not had the time to fully understand how to use all it's features. I'm sure I'll get a handle on it...sooner or later! Thanks again! Take care...Robin

Isn't it fun when you find shapes in ice. This looks like a horse rearing up. Gorgeous blue tones. It can be hard to remove a spot that large especially against such a rich blue background but with practice it can be done. I too found a shape in ice not too long ago. It looked like a penguin. Isn't nature wonderful. This really is stunning.
Cheers - Ann :)
