Tim:
I don't think this is a location that you would want to visit in summer. Hot. With heat on top.
I don't know where in Canada you'd be coming from, but I'd think that Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and some of the surrounding areas in Wyomig and Idaho might be better.

Hi Michael,
This is a real beauty! the sky doesn't bother me at all, in fact i think if it was even it would not have the same impact. It helps emphasize the rock stack on the left which it where my eye tends to focus. it looks like a great area I might have to check it out this summer.

Hi Mike, I'm a bit surprised about your comment, as I think it's pretty spectacular, and not just being nice. The dark foreground works for me. I do see Joggie's point, but that shouldn't be too difficult to fix, depending on how much cheating you're willing to commit to...:)
Cheers,
Hugo

I really oove the simplessity of this shot. The composition really makes you go back and forth through the mountains. the colors add alot of interest as there isn't alot of it. Just a great shot oeverall. Keep up the good work.

Joggie:
Thanks for the honest feedback. This is one in an ongoing post of panoramics. Let me know if you see any that are more successful and I can learn from experience.

A beautiful image of a very interesting place Michael. The uneven lighting of the sky (big problem in stitching) let the image down imo . Otherwise very nice. Kind regards. Joggie
