About A dancer participating in the "Caracol de Makati" awaits the beginning of the festivities. This festival is the city of Makati's (Philippines) version of Mardi Gras. Students dress up in costumes and compete in dance-offs with choreography loosely based upon ethnic rituals and local folklore.

Fantastic shot Ninfa, the narrow DOF placed emphasis on this single dancer followed by more behind him. I was born & raised there, lived in Makati too but funny thing is I've never heard of this festival, @ what time of the year is this held? I surely would've head on over there with my camera if I happen to be in Pinas. Anyway nicely done, cheers.

I love it. Love the lighting and the golden colors and hues. I also really like the way the colors line up. Very cool.

This is beautifully composed and exposed. But what do I like the most? I like how you have allowed the viewer to be a distant observer of the scene, and at the same time intimately connected with this first dancer. Wonderful.
