About Alex. We (I) had a slight accident, cutting his hair, so we decided to get a little creative. I took this in window light, and captured his still lingering "attitude" towards my mistake.

I've been away for a long time, and apologize for not being attentive to all of my friends great work... I'll try to do better!

Well, his hair isn't bad at all. I think you did a great job here shooting his portrait. The light and the tones are just great. I like the look in his eyes. I'm sure he forgave you right away. Good looking son you have!!!!

I really like his expression and your use of the window light. He's a good-looking fellow.

Who, in their right mind, would let you anywhere near their head with scissors? I thought Alex would have been smarter than that. But then again, he does like to live on the edge. Nice shot though.

Well, his hair looks very contemporary and suits him. Plus he has a good "attitude" look.
Glad to have you back

Poor Alex, he now sports a haircut similar to mine lol

Hey, hoping to be flying over on Sunday 12th Feb for 5 days and staying at Residence Inn at Arundel Mills. Still not confirmed but very probable. If you can make it, I would love to meet up one evening (already contacted Lou Dina).

Good grief! What red-blooded woman would be looking at his hair? If I wasn't married, I'd be on the first flight to the US :))

Seriously, you've done a superb job with window light. Janet B's work recently inspired me to try this for my niece and boy, it's harder than it looks. I tried my best though. Isn't it great to have attractive family members as guinea pigs?

Nice work Brad. Great to see you back. More pics of Alex please...

wonderfully composed portrait. Love the light and the choice of tones. It is a quiet yet very strong portrait.

Thank you so much Brad for your comment in my portfolio. :) Andree

Your hands shake more cutting hair than they do holding a camera? At least you put a good light on the situation, along with a good composition. I think the background elements are just enough to add interest without competeing with your 'subject', and the window slant gives movement to the image. Perfect toning to fit and dramatic effect of right-to-left light-to-dark.
Well shot but suggest you stick to cropping only pictures.

I have a feeling Alex could sport any hairstyle and still look strikingly good. A stylist apparently you're not, Brad, but you do produce damn fine progeny and brilliant photography.

So glad to see you back. Missed you.
