There's a lot of philosophical meaning that can be derived from this photo. The concepts boggle the mind. Creatively, the way it was put together is simple but well thought out. Forget the critiqued technicalities...I like it just the way it is. It speaks to me personally...and that's all that matters.

This is outstanding!! One of my top favorites here on usefilm. You have nailed the simplicity of capturing what your eye sees, and created an image for all of us to share. I could look at this all day.

very nice!

regards,
-Joel

This has got to be one of my top favorites, Karen...light, energy, joy...it all just streams from the image. At the same time, there's such a beautiful, ethereal quality. Makes me want to step in and join them. A fav.

Hi Karen,

I like the idea with the double children here. the helping hand, but the way is too long for the hand to help. the special colors also add to the scene. the cripples in the water give the image a dreamy look.

best wishes,
Thilo

Karen...I really like this shot...sometimes I think people dig a little too deep..technically not a difficult shot, maybe not ...but very creative in your thought process to achieve the result you have here. All the best, Todd.

Hi Karen, Hmmmm. Suggestions? Dunno if there are any, other than.... eh.... Nope. Don't think there are any suggestions. Just a thought: I think consising the view a bit by cropping off a strip on top would make it easier to focus on the reflection of the two boys, and probably make it less easy to immediately see it's been rotated.

I'm always impressed with your creativity and approach. In essence, there doesn't seem to be much to this shot, and I strongly believe I would've walked right past this scene. And technically, I don't think it's very hard to capture either. Yet, the interactions, the guesture of the two kids make it special. Their perceived effort to help eachother crossing this pool, it's mirror like appearance suggesting they're successful at that attempt almost make the pool itself the primary subject. Hope you're still following me here. As inspring as ever...:)

Cheers,

Hugo
