Lake Martin surely provides some wonderful picture opportunities. The mist adds a wonderful mysterious mood. I would think putting up that bird house might hjave been a little tricky.

I like the atmosphere a lot, mysterious and yet welcoming. I guess the little nest is there for something.

A beautiful, eery scene, Darlene! It's hard to tell where the trees and reflections end or begin! I love that spanish moss hanging down, it really gives the scene atmosphere.

Gorgeous. It makes me a bit homesick. The romantic mystery of the place is beautifully portrayed in the way you have captured the mist and toned the whole image perfectly. Of course, the trees themselves the mournful effect of the drooping moss and what looks like a lonely birdhouse all contribute to an almost mythic quality. (Can you tell I like this a lot?) ;-)

I am back from my absence amd trying to catch up, and you have been doing some amazing shots while I was gone. This is beautiful. The fog gives it a great eery feel and adds nice softness. Your exposure is beautiful. You really got a beautiful and tranquil scene.
