About This was taken last Summer at the National Gallery West Wing using available light. The photo was taken at max aperature and handheld, and I was pleased with the results for this kind of low light shot. The image contrast was corrected in PS.

I think too much of the white in the picture is burned out. I believe you would get a better result by taking a darker exposure and then adjust levels in PS.
