i can't see anything that looks technically uncorrect in this one, maybe because i'm a poor photographer... anyway i love it too, the effect of the kid behind the curtain of water is impressive!

Good morning to you too, and I've discovered my first issue with film shooting...my lab is taking forever. They were finally ready at 6:00 last night (like 35 hours after I dropped them off)and my husband and I were shopping on the other side of town and he wouldn't let me go ver there before they closed at 7:00! Grrrr! So, I'm going to get around this morning and head over. Was talking to Jan Granger (from here but she hasn't been on in ages) and she told me how to have them make me a high resolution scan on CD so I can get them on here. Any experience with that you could share before I go?? Just realized I was on your photo! Shoudl have emailed you! Sorry!

I have to agree with the others Janet, I love it! It's so cute to see the little one behind the water spray. What a great addition. That must be our little cowgirl...Nice shot!

Oh please Janet! don't be so hard on yourself. There is always something you can pick on, but what counts is the emotional impact, the impression a photo gives you. This one is so much a kids moment and cute. The only thing I mind a little is the focus and maybe the dark eyes.

GREAT shot! This is probably my favorite "type" of image. I REALLY like shots that show kids/family doing things as a family...that document a moment and tell a story for years to come...but in an interesting and aesthetically pleasing way (unfortunately i have taken far too few, but the quest continues). I think the composition of this is absolutely DynaMite...interesting perspective, those big eyes looking at you with a drop of water below, the rushing water across the frame, and of course the toddler behind the water with dry hair. Inspiring work.

I really like this shot Janet! It brings back such vivid memories of doing this as a child that I can almost feel the sting of the water on my lips! The eyes are amazingly focused...which makes the shot! I'm glad that you posted this one!

Hi Janet, like Sian, I acnnot for the life of me figure out what is technically incorrect about this picture. it's a wonderful cadid capture, every detail stands out sharp and crystal clear. Great expression on the girl's face, and the second child is an interesting element to discover on a closer look. Stunning image. Thanks also for your comment on my page.

I can't see what's technically incorrect. It's great! Are you afraid of getting the camera wet with this type of shot? Also, I love the second child with the hand out. I didn't notice her(?) at first!
