About	Taken when doing a self-project on timing. I did not use a motor drive and took single shots to see if I could get the right moment. This image has the added feature that the smiling face on the ball is positioned just right.

If you could crop out much of the backgound and leave the girl, the ball and the net, I think it would look even better. Good action shot!

I can see your point. One of the things I have to work on is cropping. I don't tend to. As to the exposure on the sand. It is hard to avoid. The sand is white on these beaches. I used an incident meter to set the exposure compensation for the people.
I will have to try your crop. Thanks.

Well I think the timing was really good (grats) and the "added feature" is also nice. However the exposure is a lot on the "over" side, the ground lacks a lot of detail.

The blue towel and the arm on the right are not so nice. The picture as it is doesn't work for me, but I think it is worth a tight crop with the yellow ball somewhere on the upper left corner. I think it would work better.
