About I enjoy this road, where I've spent two months exploring aspens. Shots are taken right after sunset, with exposures ranging from a few seconds to several minutes.

I think this one works much better than the one you've entitled "Point of Departure." Here you've got direct front light falling on the aspen trunks so they stand out from the background nicely, and you've got a framing effect from the branches on the right and at the bottom. I'd bet a contact print from this negative would have a strong three-dimensional effect.
