  Q. Need Help Adding Vignette
James McGinnis
Asked by James McGinnis    (K=6045) on 5/9/2006
I have both PS 6.0 and PS Elements 2. On my website, I offer some equine sports images for sale. I had to put a vignette on the images to downplay a horrible backlight situation and did so using a built in editor that came with my photoreflect account. However, I can't print from my version of photoreflect. To get the version that will allow me to print will cost 1300 bucks (US). So....I have to print from either PS or the windows picture viewing program.

What I want to do is add a vignette to my images using either of the PS versions I have so that the customer gets a print that looks like the on-line viewing image. You can see what I'm talking about by going to www.mcginnisimages.photoreflect.com They aren't the greatest images I've shot but I made the most of a horrible lighting situation.

Any help on the vignette situation would be most appreciated. Thanks!!

Disregard. I found an on-line tutorial that made it way too easy.

Where did you find the on-line tutorial? I've been trying to figure this out for weeks now.

Thanks!
Sheila

That's not the one I found but it'll work. I have a better (simpler) link on the computer at home. I'll post it tomorrow.
