what is the best lens/lenses for to take documentry photo on studio?

what do you think?? share your ideas pls... and give advices if you try or know it well..

I guess all it depends what exactly you would like to take.
If it is for taking an image of object then a good macro and a ring flash it does the job.

There is no "best" overall lens. If there were no other lenses would exist as everyone would have that lens.

That theoretical lens would be something like an 8-800mm f/1.8 the size and price of a 50mm f/1.8 with vibration reduction, ultrasonic motors, no abberations and distortions whatsoever, etc. etc..

All you can hope for is to find the best set of lenses for the specific purpose you intend to use them for.
