Amazingly picturesque! you are a 'cloud master', from a quick look at your portfolio, and here the clouds are in amazing harmony with the mountains.. As for the foregroud trees, I'd leave them as they are - a good frame, as someone has said, and they also relate to the dark spot of forest on the left - thus giving the picture more perspective and proportion.

Another great one. Personally I am a big fan of masking mountain scenes with trees in the foreground. I hate to crop my photos at non-standard sizes, so I think it is a good technique to maintain an aspect ratio, but direct peoples attention.

Gary, I agree with both Darlene and Elisa...the trees are a good thing.

I would pretty much like to know what scanner you use to get these noiseless pict. Maybe a bit too muted ? As for your question, I feel the foreground acts more like a frame than a foreground (because of the lack of details in it). So perhaps yes, you could crop some of it.

Ohh ... stunningly cool blue tones!!! This sight is out of this world in its beauty! I think the trees in the foreground add depth to the image, quite OK :) A fav.
