I very much appreciate your response, Cecilia. Some people get very upset if they don't receive a standard UF "accolade" for every image they upload. But this is a photocritique website, after all, and I hope we can all learn from each other. I'm watching for more photos from you (any more from Morocco?) AJ

Thank you John. You are right: this is Casablanca and I promise that I will give a name to the location of my pictures. I only hope to remember everything because in this last journey I have seen so many things in a short period of time all together that I have some difficulty to remember everything. You are right, I could choose to take more sky over the minaret to give it more breath but for me it is so difficult to find a square or a big space without people that all my attention was captured by the empty square. Thank you again for your comment. I think that many of us in this site need to receive contructive comment by someone else. Cecilia

Strange - I don't think I've visited before and I see you have lots of excellent shots in your portfolio. What caught my eye was your shots of Morocco, but somehow they don't seem to match up to your usual high standard. In this one, I think there needs to be more space around the mosque, especially above the minaret. It would be wonderful if the whole building was in the image, and the two people tight down in the bottom left corner.
I assume this is Casablanca - I feel really mean saying this but I guess some people might like to see that as the location...

Wow.. At what time you succeeded to catch such an empty place.; The result is superb! Tones and contrast are perfect, perspective too! Just one thing, I would probably correct the slight tilt.. Anyway, this is a beautiful shot Cheers Fabrice

Thank you Harry for your comment. You are right about maintaining more sky over the top of the mosquee but I had to rotate a bit the picture and I cut a part of it. What had captured my attention in this picture was the width of the square: it was beautifull Hi Cecilia

Ciao Maurizio. Cecilia

Nice shot and I like the low position of the camera. There ate a few ? points it?s a bit tilt to the left, and it would be nicer to see a bit more of the sky above the tower.
