About In 1982-4 I travelled a lot in Saudi Arabia for my work (Xray medical equipment ) and passed bigger and smaller cities. One year I lived in Riyadh, capitol city of KSA. This photo shows a mosque on what foreigners called chop square. According the law criminals were punished for crimes as theft ( chopping of a hand hence the name chop square ), murder, adultry, etc. Foreigners were encouraged to stand at the front line of the crowd for a better view.
I suspect the grey van at the right to be the criminals-bus.

Yazeed,

Yes, I took the slidebox and first took the most impressive pictures. Later i used the ones tha are more a document in time. Less appealing but interesting seen from history.
One cannot peak all the time ;-)
But I have again some nice ones coming up ;-)

Yes, my dear, Thank you for your attention.
In fact, I'm not talking about pictures that unnatural colors. This much is happening in the case of conversion.
But I am talking about the composition of the picture. Where if compared affaires following (( House in Yemen or camel or Bāb al-Yaman "Yem
camel ))
I believe that the old had been stronger .
Yours Yazeed

OK, thanks for telling. Some slides are easy to convert, others have purple and blue dominating.
I did see a lot of UV blue from the sky in the Yemen series ( in shadows ) so part is slidefilm, part is a blue sky in the mountains. Cannot control it up to now, every slide is a surprise.

Saad,

No, I had no interest in seeing these punishments.
I did consider it to be a serious business, not a "tourist attraction".
