Lighting and the way the face hide here is amazing, that photo is not JUST a shot, that is a full story, that is a paint of the past that the human try to forget on dinks and ciwarets, that's a sadness that cannot be forget!

Dear Luis, thanks for the comment.
My name is Visar Sherifi, and my nick name is Absynthius, and i use it in my most workds.
To be honest i did not concentrate much in the details of the bottle and table or ashtray, but only their presence. As you said they are small complimantary detail the way i see. I was only looking for the mood, and the sharpness in the details of my subject-- of course it would have been better if there were details of the other elements but i'll consider that next time.

Visar Sherifi is the name or is the nick...for me is the same thing..excellent vision and better angle and idea, I like the use of the light is rational criteria, highly aesthetic...
Whe can criticise poor or low details in the highlith of the bottle at the background, but is a small detail, and the poem goes with the ideological question of the image.- We keep in touch.- LUIS

Hey Michele (my belle, - remember that? :)), it is not me on the pic it is my best friend, Blerton. Last night the power went off and we were working on a project that obviously the power killed it (partially) and we were very angry then started to make some desperate jokes and take a few pictures. I thought this one conveyed the true atmosphere of last night, few drops of whiskey, an ashtrey for cigarettes and pis*** off faces!

I really feel for you guys there as i know exactly how it feels to have black nights one after the other I lived in Kosovo for 5 years. you have portrayed that feeling of despair when you are stuck & not able to do anything.love the way you portray emotions so well in your photos.

Excellent image Visar...I like this darkness and the ( your?))) Eye looking straight into the lens..the reflections and , smoke... the liquor bottle ...I like the entire composition ...Ohhhh and the 'about' matches well with this image ..
I am sorry when you loose power.. here in my small town on the coast we loose it all the time too...in the winter generally the most ..for days at a time and I understand that agravation so well.
