Thanks a lot for the info about the making, Visar! I think the result pretty much matches your intention here. I don't find the grass "too strngly interfering", really. It contributes very well to the overall composition for me. It seems to "locate" the photographer himself in this case. or the place from where he was looking.
Cheers!
Nick

hi Nick, and thanks for the detailed comment on the photo.
about the time i shot this photo: it was at dusk, almost dark or too dark to shot from the hand. i liked that reflection of the hill on the water for it was suggesting me some kind of 'aloft' state- but it was not enough just the reflection and its dark tones in contrast with the sky and lake water- so the dandelion on the foreground was a great element for the composition (and for anything it might suggest)!~ so i had my camera settings in low aces and small aparture, and i had to lay the camera on the ground to get this result.
i am not too convinced with the grass around dandelion; i think it intereferes a little more than it should!!(?)
cheers, v.

This one captures the mood atmosphere after or even durung rain, Visar. A very light but nonetheless also visible humidity seems to fill the air and to soften up all available contours. The solitary object in front of the lake does a good work in the foreground, but also as a source of impurity for the perfect symmetry between the background hills and their reflection that would otherwise dominate the image.
This time the dark and rich colors seem to be ideal for the white sphere on the top of the plant. They all seem to lead there, to the centre of the image, but from there one contonues down to the distance of dark colors.. from where we again come into the center and so forth. It seems that there is no definite place for the eye to restfor a long time. Very interesting.
Nick

Saad, i think i should not go on telling you about the photo! for two reasons, mainly!
a. you are negating the photo, (elements of composition and all it takes to make a photo (not to sound like a teacher)),
b. you are asking for something, that is part of technique i use, and which i am not intending to disclose (or perhaps, ONLY when scrutinizing the work, the content of it, quite thoroughly, not necessarily subjectively).
thank you a lot, v.

Hi Absynthius, agreed, so until your next post, though I have in mind to put a critique to this one after knowing what those lines are,you know there is no capture info about the shot,I haven't post a critique cause I do not want to speculate , be well and fine, Saad.

Hi Saad,
i would exchange that info with a critique!! how about that!?
regards, v.
p.s.: you have figured one thing- a line can only be a line, well, as long as it hints onto a line- perhaps, so, until they shape something else- which is so likely!!
