I went to see Sheila for a manicure, and she was still moaning about her singledom state, so I delicately suggested she try other things to meet a more desirable type of fellow. She said she had already tried speed dating, internet dating, love-matching agencies and that type of thing, but with no success. I pretty much felt that perhaps she was trying too hard, and flippantly replied that she go see a fortune teller too see what her destiny held. She seemed to take to this suggestion quite fervently, and I was quick to tell her that I was just joking, that palm readers and toarot readers and "that sort" were just after your money and never told you anything "real' anyway. Little did I realise the consequences my suggestion would have on dear Sheila.....
:) okay have been rollin around for the last few minutes...long enough for the kids to thik I need help...laughting my head off...you should be a comedian Bek...
You are a true friend to stick so close during her troubled times. :)
Oh sheesh . . . you can cut the suspense with a knife!! COME ON Beks! She's YOU'RE friend and could use some help here!! Let's see some of that persuasive talk now . . .
Ah my dearset Jan....LOL! Happy to oblige and introduce you to Sheila, she is certainly a feisty one, and more than enough woman for most! Am glad you are appreciating the tale of Sheila thus far, tho' you must be patient, her life revolves around mine at the moment (yes, she has become quite clingy in her lonliness, but, as a good friend I will stick by her) and does not make a move without me. Am starting to wonder what I have gotten myself into here.....Hmmm. Anyway, stay tuned for the next exciting adventure of Sheila... Will she finally meet her man as Madame Zelda predicted? Can she face more lonely nights on the couch? Will the wine begin to pack on the kilo's....forcing her to sacrifice man-hunting hours at the gym?..............
Sheila is more than a handful for most men! She cannot be stopped; she cannot be denied. She is woman and woman is Sheila. (Did I say that right?) --In laughter, Jan
