This one could have been a photo on the front page of some modern photography magazine, Miranda! In addition to the excellent details you gave your main subject, you also put it in that kind of solitude in the middle of some uninteresting "nowhere", which evolves to "somewhere" in front of our eyes, by relating the green wall to the person itself.
Your photography seems to contain very often such elements of solitude of our days. A kind of manifestation of reality, if you wish.
Just keep it up!

so.. is a great idea.. the dof in foreground is very cool, very good composed, personally I would have obtained a little DOF also on the background.
Perhaps using the tunnel. Even if I think that your idea was "to cut" the part what would have "burned" the photography for the too much light..

Hi dear Miranda. I've been checked your portrafolios
I think so you are a very interesting photographer.
Your themes are so everyday but the way how to show
us is excellent as this portrait shot. For me this one
is the favorite, this is a well captured composition,
full of great details and the model's look so expressive.
Very well balanced colours and tonal range, no doubt
the Canon 300D a great camera! Nicely done dear! 7/7
