I love how you have captured the large, pinkish Sun over the trees. It was a terrific idea to set up your composition with the branches in front of the Sun. I really like this. Beautiul shot. MAry

Beautiful setting sun Darlene - I like the placement of the bare tree trunks, giving a nice zen like feel to this shot. I'm just curious as to the size of the sun in the photo. I've seen plenty of shots with the sun looking very large - is that how it looked in real life? I assume geographic location plays a factor on how the sun appears as it sets ... Sorry to get a bit off-topic. Very nice work :)

Very nice capture!It reminds me of the movie gone with the rising sun!It was a feature of the movie posted in most of theaters.The coming of darkness sometimes brings sadness as it means the end of the day but this view will definitely make me look forward to it:) MJ
