Beautiful shot Gary. Just once I wish someone would go to the bottom of the rainbow and take a photo looking up at the rainbow. Did you do that? You did find a different perspective of one so it's refreshing to view. Really takes the eye down the valley into those reds. Another winner.

This is an extraordinary rainbow as it doesn't have the typical shape it usually has. The shadows on both sides emphasize the brightness of the colours.
Perfect composition.

I was just commenting on how your other picture posted looked like a rainbow, I look
at this photo and here is the real deal. What a wonderful suprise. Another one of natrures wonderful gifts. I Like this veiw as it is not the typical arch. Has some character. Hope you hiked to the end and found the pot of gold. Very beautiful capture.
