Hi Chris,

Great timing and great exposure compensation too...considering the contrasty background...unless u were using incident light metering :)

Cheers mate
Irfan :)

Hi Ray,
I did not manage to get any outdoors this year either. The butterfly exhibit was nice... I just had to stand there and wait.
Chris.

Nice shot Chris; I haven't managed to capture a single one this year, they have always been out of reach for my old bones to get to. Beautiful rich colour and great detail in your shot so well done to you my friend. Best wishes...Ray

Hi Andy,
I am still getting use to the lens it is the EF-S one. Check out my Owl Eye picture I think it is a better example of the detail you can capture. About worth the money, I am happy with it but probably would have been happier to wait until the price came down. Thanks for the comments.
Chris

Nicely caught Chris - butterflies tend to land in awkward positions, but if possible I'd have tried to get in even closer, and get it diagonally across the frame. Then again it does look quite big and just a little scary... Is that 60mm the EF-S macro? Worth the money?

Hi My Friend, I Like this shot.

When First viewing it I thought it may have been a bit busy.....But the more that I Looked at it the more that I realized that it wasn't busy....just a bit overpowering on the right side of the Picture..So I took the liberty of toning it down a bit and liked the result....it was a fast Ps job....let me know what you think.
My Best Regards

Sam III
