Yes Santonu, I will sure tell you some easy steps by which you can get good results. First make sure that you scan at a minimum of 600 dpi. Later you can reduce the size in Photoshop. Please also use the sharpening tools in photoshop to make the scan more crisp. Then use nosie removing softwares such as neat image to reduce the grain / noise which comes from the scan. Ofcourse better scanners will give you better results. I use a canon canoscan 8400 f to scan my negatives and slides for reference only. For my 8x12 and 15x12 blowups I get my slides scanned by a professional , he has the nikon coolscan scanner and scannes my slides at 4000 dpi. All the best.
