Gayle! I think this a wonderful image. I love the selective focus, placement of the leaves and the textures abound! It has a feeling of a woman like Ophelia, but not with such great sadness or tragedy. I would like to see a bit less grain on the neck, however, because it sort of draws away from the general feeling of watery softness the rest of the image invokes. Just a thought.
Great image. Wonderful artistic impression! Nice neck! ;) Take care -d

i like both: this one and that you've posted like it was your self. regards.
(usefilm is not the problem: I've just understood the problem is me...)
I'd like more freedom, more creativity, more... ...people that works for say the same things but with other words...
repeat, repeat, repeat the same flower or sunset or the same point of view...i don't know if you understand me a bit.
if you want i can explain you more things. anyway I think you're honest and this is the reason i talk to you so.
many thanks for your support.
ismael.

Beautiful image Gayle? strange, full of mystery and longing, both human and ghostly! To be looked at and at leisure? the least said the better?

Hi Gayle,

I think this is absolutely beautiful and the title is perfect. Your strong relationship with and identification with nature and the earth have been very evident from your other work, but this is an exquisite statement of it.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Paul!

hi and thanks for compliments and encouragement! I know that this image is ok for general viewing, but it is the other color gauguin one that i posted yesterday and placed into nude female because you could tell it was a female form...it looks more abstract to me,but ya never know if too much showing to offend someone.... Wish i was joining ya to minnie to see our friend,Neal....please tell him i said a big hell'o! Have a blast!

Yeah, sure, this is suitable for general photo audiences, Gayle. As long as there's no boobies, there's not a problem.
As for the photo: This is very ethereal and richly textured. I really do wanna learn more about your talent to grunge up your shots; you do such a magnificent job!
I'm exicted, as I'm going for some R&R in Minneapolis for several days, and it's always grand when Cammy and I go to new places!
I've got my laptop w/ me, so I'll certainly be posting some shots over the next several days.

It looks like she's drowning under water and the leaves are floating on top. Slightly creepy (is there a theme going on tonight?) Nice job on the effects, Mark

hi and thanks for input...since i already did that other one,Lady of the leaves,in color,i didn't want this one to have any color so that there is no distinction between the leaves and woman...hence the title...hope that makes sense But please never hesitate to share your ideas with me...or show me a different crop

Very creative image Gayle. Did you try leaving just the leaves in colour for a different effect? Might dramatise the leaves even more. My thoughts being the leaves have more life than the person. Just a thought. This image inspires the imagination. Very thought provoking. Great work. Cheers - Ann :)
