I know!
I did that once...and only once! I totally rather pay the extra 4-5 bucks and get the better quality.
When I get home tonight, I will try to see if I can't brighten it.

You know what the problem is with these last few posts that look so dark? I got them developed at a lousy place. It's amazing the difference in photo quality when you get them developed at a nice place. I just wanted to see what the difference was since the price was so much better. My black and white photos that I took to the nicer place here in town have a whole different look. The tone, brightness and contrast is so much better. I thought I could adjust it with Picture It, but it didn't do much good. I wonder if your PS could adjust it any better?

That's a great moment! I love how she's having such a wonderful time.
I was thinking...the photo seems a bit dark to me. I'm not sure if it's a stylistic decision or not. I was wondering how it would look if you brighten it up a hint and increased the contrast a bit too.
But that's just me...I just love everything in super high contrast.
