Perfect Todd! The earthen brown facade is incredible. Great quiet eeriness to the corner. Saw "Serpico" the other night - this reminds me of some of the facades in that film.

Sooooo fine! Gorgeous composition, Todd...marvelous flow and feeling in this one; very atmospheric with its somber earthen hues.

Hi Todd,

this is you in perfect shape =) The mono-toning, the geometry fights, the special gadgets (like the windows that have been closed with stones...)... like the industrial look here.

best wishes,
Thilo

Todd:

If you have a membership, CostCo has a great value on prints. I also wanted to let you know you should star this photo for the archive as well. three for three. Impressive. I was thinking you could print a sextet or maybe four of these and matt them together in a nice frame.

:) Thanks Michael! i really do like the D70 a lot. it may be because i've used nikons in the past, but i find it very easy to use and change settings quickly. i am much happier with the images i'm getting now too...i can't wait to print a few and see how they look on paper.
best wishes,
todd

So, how do you like the D70? Seems to me that you are punching out great shot after great shot now. Really pleased to see your face.

Very nice angle and composition. In your architectural works there is a mixture of abstract composition and a very concrete and tangible touch of modern life melancholy. Again: people shine by their absence!

Thanks for sharing.

Cool "gloaming" light,Todd! Like the composing from this perspective and the geometry...especially like the mystery of what may lurk around that corner!
BTW,like your crazy surprise bio pic..hehehe
