I know I have commented before on this photograph. The side lighting is very nice capturing the moment making one feel what this woman is thinking about. Waiting on the bench wondering how much longer before that someone arrives. Or even if they will show up.
The Lady could also be sitting alone in a serene location reflecting on her life and past years.

Thanks for the info, yes I do use PS, but convert in Canon sw. Also, I find Canon Photo Studio quite useful, much simpler than PS, though.

If I remember right, you need to have the center point selected as your AF point for the flash assist to work. Your B/W is looking very good I wouldn't switch to something else. A lot of people use PS channels for conversion. Do you have Adobe Photoshop?

I have realised that function of the flash, just not sure when it works and how to generate the start of that. Sometimes does it and sometimes just does not want to... I use the Canon sw for conversion, any better idea, Lily?

Endre, I use mine mostly with a 50mm prime lens. I need to buy another zoom cause I don't use the kit lens much. I like the camera's portability. The image quality and noise performance is supposed to be on par with 20D. It handles low light well. Do you know it'll pop out the flash and send a beam to assist focus when there is not enough light? If you haven't tried it, check this out. It's a lot of fun. Do you use Canon Capture software for processing RAW?

Lovely composition - I really like your use of the space!
I like the light, her pose and your B&W conversion.
I'd like to see her with dark nail polish on her toes to add a little more contrast in that area where her foot meets the floor - but that's a tiny detail!

Endre - i agree with most of what is said here so far. There is one issue that distract from the image for me: the woman is staring into the end of the frame whilst there is so much space to the right of the photo. I would have moved the frame to the left, so that the right of the photo is just to the right of the bench so doing giving her more space....

Érdekesek a tónusok, Endre, elől mintha nappali fény lenne, hátul meg már az éjszaka. A hölgy arca igen kifejező, látszik hogy unja már a várakozást. Komolyan foglalkozol a RAW-val? Ujabban már Carsten ranke is azt mondja, hogy nincs sok értelme.

Nagyon jó!!! Látom csak engem érdekelt a honiak közül a képed. Nekem nagyon tetszik, csodásan fotózott kompozició. El tudnám képzelni keretezve a szobám falán. Nekem valami nyugalmat áraszt a kép, pedig a cim és a kategória is inkább az ellentétje, de mégis...! Csakis gratulálni tudok eme csodás alkotásért! 7+++
