It's so hard to know what to say about your poetic photos, since every one has long since beat me too it.! Just know I'm in love with your soul (as are apparently most of the women on this site).:)))

Carsten, thank you for your thoughtful and honest critique! I did shoot from close in, for the convergent perspective at the top of the composition. And you're right....it's not for everybody... A "stand back and get it all straight up" approach may have worked, too. ..Brad

Stunning prespective, not an easy job without a flip-out display ;-) The convergence of blades is quite an important stylistic element here. My only point is the limited DOF, I am not sure that I prefer it to a wider DOF (I suppose, you narrowed it on purpose)

Nice colours and great perspective. What really strikes me about this photo, is that I took one almost exactly the same yesterday. I guess I'm not the only one with this perspective. Nice shot Bradley.

Hey you, nice to see you posting, and the first thing I thought about when I saw this was the creepy crawlers getting in my hair...hahaha..and yes I agree with Jeanette, it reminds of childhood and running through the fields, beautiful carefree memories, and I guess that's the main word there, carefree, that's what this feels like, I love blue skies and clouds and you got that happening here for sure..very nicely done my dear Brad, and I have to tell you I DON'T do spiders, can hardly stand the thumbnail, hahaha, it looks way to good, nightmare material, but I'm sure if it's yours, it's awesome...Linda

Jeanette, sounds like you had an affinity for doing those things that were "off limits"~ Good girl! How can you ever understand lifes mysteries without looking at it from all sides....including from perspectives that are "out of bounds"?? As you know, that's usually where you see the heart of the matter. Thank you for your kindness.. ..Brad

But Brad, WHAT did you do down there in the grass? Is it allowed? :) Well, this low angle kind of captures are in my taste, make me think of freedom and childhood. When i was a kid i like to run in my grandfathers fields, but he didn?t like it at all becuase that destroyed a lot. So i had to stop....but i remember the feeling of being surrounded by high grass and the labyrinths i made in there :) Lovely deep blue sky to end it up!

You laying in the fields on yer back starin at the sky and ponderin life again, Brad? As you reached, did you grow? Well, your perspective sure did bring about a pretty view with such a lovely deep blue sky and the fluffiest of clouds. Love the light and shadow play on the dangly leaves.
