Beautiful image and excellent composition... I would have like the background a little more blurry to isolate the sandal without distractions... Nevertheless... it is great as it is...

It certainly is impressive the detail some of these sculptors get in their work, even on the large pieces the details and fine finish are awesome.
I like this shot for the way the sandal stands out so well from the background and the colour difference foreground to background. The choice of DOF is bang on too as it allows the viewer to experience the entire scene and place it in context without allowing the background to become too distracting. If I had any criticism at all it would only be that the back foot is showing a small amount of noise, but that really is nit picking on a very good image!

My what big feet you have:) The light here is so nice for revealing all that amazing detail. And the contrast with the bluish background really makes it stand out. Another good one, Alison.
