About Texas Hill Country. The best part of the state. Lots of small counties, each with a unique and attractive courthouse. Yes, this county was named for that Crockett fellow out of Tennesse. Each of these places is worth the time for a visit. Friendly people, great food and wonderful stories.

This very beautiful place and you do good to captuire it. I glad to see you still shoot much film. I buy small digital and use sometimes but film just work better for me. So I have darkroom and will do much black and white.. you watch and tell me of problems.

Very fine, George. I also think it works very well as a square crop, with the frame running through the middles of the trunks of the trees on left and right. That cuts down the rather powerful effect of the black shadowy masses and allows the courthouse itself to dominate.
