What a cutie! It really looks as thought she posed for you to make sure you could see her just right through the twigs! I have to say that the 'noise' in the background doesn't bother me at all in this shot - it just emphasizes the sharpness of the little sparrow all the more!

You have the world's cleanest clearest windows! This is a wonderful series. The twigs in the foreground make it seem all the more natural and wild. I think some people will find fault with anything. Noise in the background? Oh please. This is a picture of a bird, not of the background. Overall, these are great pictures.

What a beautiful catch Rebecca... You captured the bird with a seed in it's beak.
I love the cropping and the DOF is perfect.

Soooooo precious! The twigs with snow cascading down around the bird are fantastic. So delicate and sweet. The little morsal in his beek (beak?) tops this off. You can even have fun with the camera while working...good for you. :) Antonia.

Thank you HArry. Indeed, the twigs are there to stay. But I try running this through Neat Image to reduce the noise levels. IS this better?

Very nice bird/winter image Rebecca. Pity the background is a bit grainy/noisy and the two small twiggs in front of the sparrow's body are a little distracting, but very nice shot....Best regards, Harry
