Dramatic blending effect - clever PS work. The only thing my eyes struggle with is the impression of backlight, in combination with the obvious high-noon shadows on the ground ;-) Anyway - impressive work !

the way i took this image is to ues a tripod and take the 1st shot in colour,and than the same shot with a infrared filter and than combine the too in photoshop by useing the muiltply mode and playing around with the opacity to your liking i hope this helps a bit, paul smith
