beautiful work. i found Java Island to be wonderful when i was in Amsterdam. i loved the architecture and really just the idea in general.

this is a wonderful image... i love the interplay between curved and straight lines. very nicely seen.
my only suggestion would be to increase the saturation a bit and give it a tad more impact.
cheers,
todd

You are right Hugo, I wish I had been standing closer, because this is already a crop of the original. I'll have to (and want to) go back sometime.

Of our own device"

Like a comic book.
Just love it, you should come over to Amsterdam more often ;)

The reflection and composition expression is good.

Hi Marion, A very intriguing and elaborate photo. Each individual reflection in each of the panes is a piece of art on its own; I only think the combination of panes from a more distant viewpoint makes the image a bit cluttered. Nonetheless, this is definately a photo to pounder over for hours and hours. A very intricate composition of various distorted reflections, cluttered, but at the same time in good harmony with eachother. Very well captured!

Cheers,

Hugo.

PS: Saxophone man is easy: top left pane.
