a great combination of old and new architecture debbie......nice oneee !! when i saw the thumbnail i did not believe what i was watching....pretty cool efect u got here.
what a cool shot Debbie, love the way you captured the contrast between the old and new, I dont think Id have even noticed it driving by, contrast in age, shapes, colors, you name it well done, also I need to thank you for your kind words on my snow scene, I was over whelmed by your comments, and wanted to thank you, I guess it amounts to the fact, that you study photogrphy, your camera how it works, lighting, and every great once in awhile, you find your self standing in the right place at the right time, and thats what happened here, I visit this place through the season cause I always thought there was something special about it, if you look, youll see the infrared shot I did, was in that same place, the photo called, to the Far shore, was just south of this same area about 50 feet, so its a spot I loike to check out, and again, thank you soooo much, you were more than generous..*shy Smile*
WOOHOO! I love this shot, especially considering it was done with a 35mm camera. The parallel lines run perfectly parallel, and the line running across the bottom is perfectly perpendicular to the rest...VERY difficult to do without a view camera. I think the distance from the subject is what helped on this one, but it also took some great compositional technique. I love the geomtery of it all. Great architectural shot! :) Only concern is the tree sticking into the right of the frame, but, considering all the elements you had to get in this shot, moving to get away from the tree might've made the rest of the composition impossible. Good job!
P.S. Gosh, that grass looks soft. I wanna go take a nap now. :)
