Beautiful and ethereal. Love the colors, comp, and exposure- worth taking the time to get a good scan (I too have always had problems with flat-bed scanners- one reason I went digital).

A sharper scan, I agree, but is there a loss in color contrast (in the water movement and the sky)? If so, I wonder why. I have had trouble with upload quality on certain images and can't understand why. A very nice shot both ways Chris! Thanks for your comment on my Buds shot. I strive for "different" images and I'm glad you appreciate it. Regards.

Well, you're right. This version is better. But anyway with the other one you could see it is a great picture. It has an excellent lighting, composition and exposure, and beautiful tones. I like it very much, it's a great capture.
