Complimenti

Sandy, This image is a true work of art. To me it represents the struggle in creating
those images that reach out and touch the masses. This image should turn the heads of
those who still do not see photography as art. You have a gift that inspires even the most
seasoned artists, and photographers.

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 11/25/2003
Truly awesome. You've really evolved in your work, and it does not resemble anybody I've seen before. I agree with you on the shadows; very nice. The soft spotlighting for the face I like very much. The top border is too tight, though. At least clear the top of the head. That camera strap or cord is a minor distraction. I'd have cloned it out.

  0

Gianfranco Bussalai   {K:888} 11/25/2003
Your shot have encountered huge approval: I don't know if the reason is in the fact that you are a woman or that you are a woman that show herself or finally that you are a woman that show herself and her tongue at the same time...

  0

Cherie Spike   {K:-21959} 11/25/2003
Wow fabulous photography! I'm really impressed, very sensual expression and pose - how gorgeous you look as well! Well done Sandy and I'll be popping back to your fantastic portfolio soon! Cherie

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 11/25/2003
You're right ? the lighting is just geat. The various shades and related tones really contribute to this image's effectiveness.

  0

MaryBell    {K:32791} 11/25/2003
After all the other things that have been said about quality, style, light, sensuality, etc. I just want to add the title gives the tongue away imo...it reminds me of a few guys I knew back in the day (was high school that long ago?) who used to play basketball with their tongues peaking out between their teeth seemed they had to concentrate very hard...makes me wonder...;)

  0

Jennifer Lord-Palmer   {K:2596} 11/25/2003
Sandy
Wow I am blown away! That is the coolest picture I have seen in a long time for sure. the lenz in the camera even reflecting her image if you close into it...the lighting is amazing and the way her heand seems to reach through the photograph almost! I love how its smudged and blurred at the bottom...it looks like a very exspensive painting by a highly creative and detailed artist. You make my heart sing with possibilites.
thanks!
jenni

  0

jenny b   {K:126} 11/24/2003
has a sensuous feel, the tongue leads my eye to her eyes, then to the camera provocative. I am sure some camera manufacturer would like this approach. Good work!

thank you everyone...
and thank you richard...lu

Richard Marriner   {K:6657} 11/24/2003
Yeah, you are definitely getting better, nice surprise to see this when I got up today. Control of lighting is the key in taking photo work to the next level and it's great to see you playing around with it. I'm impressed with you - must have taken hours ;-)) lol. The lens effect really does add something, but I think you could still fiddle it a bit more - 3D pinch, slight flare, circ gradient the brightness across the middle. Just adds a little realism. The ethereal look on the arms and face is spot on but maybe the hand needs a little contrast balancing. I give this 7 wows...
Not sure whether that's a pensive tongue or a lascivious one...?

dear sandy, i see now how and where to you are working at yourself. a strong, very emotional, very sensual line into self exploitation? it must be your tongue which is guiding you. it is always out to attract some prey!
kind regards
