My wife did some modeling for me tonight and this particular look really caught my eye so I captured it. 4 strobes used, one large 52" octagon softbox as main above and in front of model, one in shoot-through umbrella back at camera position and to the left a bit, one behind model and to her right as a kicker, and one with a snoot to light up the background a bit.
Vincent, you were wrong to think that Arthur was an old geezer. But he still is one ugly man! hehehe
I think that you have a beautiful model here. I like the softness of this image. I have to agree with Vincent though regarding the sheet... It's doesn't seem to belong there. Although, it works perfectly here - http://www.usefilm.com/showphoto.php?id=18827
An other thing I'd try and address (even though I can't tell you how, as you know about a million things more than I regarding portraiture), is the shadow the nose produces. I think the image could benefit a lot without it.
Having said all of the above, I still think that it's a good effort.
A very pretty model! I thought you were an old geezer...guess not. Wonderful lighting here. The tones on her face and hair are perfect indeed. The background matches her eye shadow and lipstick well. The blue in the necklace adds a nice touch of contrast to the rest of the colors. The sheet-like looking thing on her head....it must GO in my humble little opinion. Still a nice shot.
