Hi, Diana,
Blue is also my favorite color, but I like it in any shade. These are a very beautiful shade of blue indeed. With the fly on the flower, one could call this "beauty and the beast." You have created a work of art with your camera.

Blue...It's a wonderful color. My favorite too. That's a good choice. This shot is really nice. Love the composition and the colors. The blue is so blue and the white is so white. There is a litlle thing I don't like: the fly. Congrats Diana!

PS: I took a look to your site as well... wonderful paitings, with beautiful colors. Very nice tecniques as well... very interesting. I just wonder if it's "clean" watercolor, or did you use some PC/PS- work for some of them? (for instance for "Petanque, under the trees"...
I also used to paint a few years ago... I like watercolor, but I've never menaged such a clear "watercolor tecnique"... Congrats for your paintings as well.

Extremely pleasing effect with such a vibrant colour. DOF is excellent. The bokeh is surprising : perfect circles. Was the flare in the UR added in PS ? Anyway, the image is splendid.

Hi Diana, Wow this is a great image of little Anemone blanda,one of my favourite spring flowers,just finished in my garden.Great composition and D.OF.yes the sun spots and the fly add life to the image.I really like flowers taken in garden with a natural out of focus background,like you I am a watercolourist and paint from my images in a similar fashion. I have visited your web site MOST IMPRESSED!!!

Hi Alexey,
The circles you see are lensflares, this happens when the bright sunrays touche the lens. Sometimes I try yo catch these flares on purpose because they add a certain mood to the photo. Without them this photo wouldn't be so "alive". It is hard to catch them in the right way and it took many shots before I was really satisfied . Luckely on this one even the little fly was there. How could I resist?
