we don't like them here either, especially near towns and nature preserves.
The noise can be deafening and they're regular meatgrinders, killing thousands of birds each year.
Farmers find wind and rain patterns around them changing as well, which can lead to miniature droughts.

This is my favourite of the two... love the motion in the blades you've caught here (alas, could not get that effect on my humble Lumix on my visit.

Very interesting to see your's have two blades to the three we are used to seeing here in UK.

I love how these line the side of the road... I do like seeing these things (although some in my area are protesting against a new windfarm I embrace the idea)

Seeking permission to get into a bigger windfarm in the near future so hopefully I will get some closer shots of the windmills... looking forward to the experience :)

One thing that I think helps when you want people to compare your shots is to add the QUICK ID # of the previous shot so that we can easily access it. If someone asks you to compare shots, and they have 100 shots on USEFILM, it can be quite a task to find it.
Just a suggestion for next time.

Now, onto the shot... the colours are a lot more vivid on this one... I love the slight motion blur of the wind propellors! Nicely done.
